On 23 April 2018, the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong held the Seminar on “Development Opportunities for the Financial Industry following the NPC and CPPCC meetings”. Professor CHEN Guanghan, director of the Center for Studies of Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta of Sun Yat-sen University and Vice President of Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies and Mr XIAO Geng, Professor of Finance and Public Policy of the University of Hong Kong were keynote speakers. Mr JIANG Xianzhou, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong and Chairman and Executive Director of China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited expressed his gratitude and presented souvenir to the speakers. Mr Ronick CHAN, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong and member of the Legislative Council (finance) made the opening address. The event attracted approximately 150 participants including representatives of members of the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong and representatives of members of the Hong Kong Association of Banks.
