The inaugural Board meeting of the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong was held on March 15, 2017. Chairman Yue Yi presided over the meeting. The Board considered and approved the proposal on the convening of the Annual General Meeting on April 25, the application for membership of UnionPay (Hong Kong) Limited and the financial budget for 2017. The Board also considered and approved the following proposals, which were submitted later to the Annual General Meeting for approval: audited financial statements of the Association for 2016, Report of the Directors and the independent auditors’ report, re-appointment of EY as the external auditor for 2017 and the revisions of the Articles of the Association.
