InvestHK, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, the Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong and the Chinese Securities Association of Hong Kong held the Chinese Enterprises Spring Reception at the Central Government Offices on 20 March 2018 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Mr Paul CHAN Mo-po, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Ms Qiu Hong, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region officiated the opening ceremony and proposed a toast with the officiating guests on the stage.
In his speech, Mr CHAN said that Hong Kong would fully capitalise on the unique advantages of “One Country, Two Systems” and act as a facilitator and promoter, with a view to making greater contributions to both the Mainland and Hong Kong economic developments.
